Intensive Art Programme – Painting & Drawing Classes in Dublin

The Intensive Programme at East Coast Art Studios is designed for those who want to commit to focused, studio-based learning. Over 1 or 2 months, you’ll develop your skills in painting or drawing through sustained practice in a professional working studio.

Suitable for all levels, this course supports a wide range of interests, including portraiture, figure drawing, landscape, and abstraction.

• 3-hour private 1:1 session with artist Eoin Llewellyn to set your goals and direction
• 8 full studio days (10:00am–4:00pm, Wednesdays & Saturdays)
• Guided museum visit for research and inspiration

Additional Studio Time

Students can book extra hours in the studio, including:

• Additional full studio days (Wednesdays & Saturdays)
• Evening painting sessions (Tuesdays, 6:00–9:00pm)
• Dedicated drawing classes

Approach

This programme is centred on observation, process, and individual development. You’ll work on your own projects, with guidance available throughout, allowing you to build both technical skill and a personal approach to painting or drawing.

Booking

You can begin at any time of year, provided there is space available. Studio places are limited, so early booking is recommended.

To book, choose your first session (Wednesday or Saturday), then schedule the remaining dates as you go or in advance.

Many students continue with additional painting and drawing classes after completing the intensive, building on their progress over time.
