Ann grew up in Western Mass. Her first introduction to yoga was with her mother doing some stretches together. In the 7th grade did a presentation to her class on the benefits of yoga, even demonstrating some poses. Ann taught studio art for 20 years. Teaching had always been a way to share her passions. She came to hot yoga in 2009 after being told she needed new knees, but was "too young for that". After the first class, her knees felt better, and she was hooked. Yoga became a place for physical and mental restoration and rejuvenation. In 2023, she became a certified 26 + 2 instructor, and that love of teaching and yoga has continued. In her spare time, she runs a non-profit for people with disabilities, makes art, and sometimes even squeezes in a little yoga.
