Our Family Yoga Class is a playful and meaningful experience designed for a parent or caregiver and child to connect, move, and unwind together. Geared toward children in PreK–2 (though all ages are welcome), this class weaves together partner yoga, simple breathing exercises, and engaging activities that bring our theme of earth, water, fire, and air to life. Each session also includes a fun make-and-take craft to extend the experience beyond the studio. The cost is $25 per pair (one adult and one child), making it a special and accessible way to spend quality time together while building mindfulness, creativity, and connection.
Arlene McLean, M.Ed., is a dedicated fourth grade teacher, educator, and mindfulness practitioner who is passionate about supporting the well-being of children and families. She holds a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher certification and is trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), with additional training through the Baptiste Institute and Mindful Schools. As the founder and creator of Mindful Movers Yoga, she designs engaging, developmentally appropriate experiences that help children build self-awareness, resilience, and a lifelong connection to movement and calm.
Cathy Fields, M.A.Ed., is a public educator with 18 years of experience, currently teaching kindergarten and bringing a strong understanding of early childhood development to her work. She is also the owner of Easthampton Yoga, where she creates a welcoming space for movement, mindfulness, and community, blending her passion for education and wellness to support both children and adults.
