Yin Yoga is a deeply meditative and slow paced class that’s typically done entirely on the floor. Expect to hold poses for up to 5 minutes (or longer) and find a moderate level of sensation. This class primarily targets the joints and connective tissues, as opposed to the muscles, using passive long-held poses where the body relaxes fully. The practice is simple but not necessarily easy! The effects of the class can include decreased tension, lower stress, and better mobility.
