Yin poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues – tendons, fascia, and ligaments – to increase blood circulation in the joints and improve flexibility. In this workshop we will add the use of a tennis ball (or see below for other options!) to release tension / pain and to become more flexible.

This workshop is designed to improve the flow of qi – life energy – which improves organ health, immunity and emotional well-being. After you’ll be able to apply the technique of deep tissue relaxation (or deep tissue release) easily at home.

A great complementary practice to balance the effects of more dynamic forms of yoga. This class is designed for all experience levels.

To have ready: Comfortable clothes (yoga/exercise), big & small pillow, blanket or towel, yoga block (or book) and tennis ball (if not available get creative! Wrap socks around a golf ball, use an apple, orange or lime!!)
