Yin Yoga Special

A practice of stillness that allows to get into our bodies with postures that are held for several minutes. Yin poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues – tendons, fascia, and ligaments – to increase blood circulation in the joints and improve flexibility. In this workshop we will add the use of a tennis ball to release tension / pain and to become more flexible.
By using a tennis ball, relaxing becomes much easier than one might think. We will start with the hip area and parts of the legs, followed by softening the back and shoulders. We’ll seal the workshop with a longer relaxing posture to allow the effect to sink in deeply in.
This workshop is designed to improve the flow of qi – life energy – which improves organ health, immunity and emotional well-being. After you’ll be able to apply the technique of deep tissue relaxation (or deep tissue release) easily at home.
A great complementary practice to balance the effects of more dynamic forms of yoga. This class is designed for all experience levels.
