Grizzly Boxing Club Membership
For safety, training begins with non-contact sessions unless you have prior formal boxing experience. You will have access to open gym times up to six days per week and may attend any instructional classes offered.
With interest, approval and meeting required conditions, you may progress to weekly full-contact sparring in the ring. As you advance to light and full-contact stages, appropriate protective equipment is required. Members must also register annually with Canadian Amateur Boxing Association in order to spar or compete. Contract terms are outlined below.
The parties agree as follows:
A) The Member agrees to keep and obey all the rules and regulations now in-force or in future prescribed by Grizzly Cage Inc. Grizzly Cage Inc. shall have the right to revoke any membership for cause, if the Member fails to keep and obey any such rules and regulations, without refund to the Member of any monies paid under this Agreement to Grizzly Cage Inc., or any of its agents. The Member agrees that while using the facilities, he/she will not conduct himself/herself in a manner which may cause danger to or create a nuisance to other persons, or otherwise interfere with the use of the premises.
B) The Member represents and warrants that he/she is medically fit to undergo physical exercise and to use the facilities of Grizzly Cage Inc., and further represents that he/she is not aware of any physical or medical condition, which may be aggravated by physical activity or result in deterioration of health.
C) The Member agrees that Grizzly Cage Inc. shall not act as bailee of his/her personal property, and agrees that Grizzly Cage Inc. shall not be liable for the theft or loss of or damage to the personal property and effects of the Member.
D) Purchasing a Membership will require a pre-authorized payment plan and necessitates a commitment of 6 consecutive months payment upon which time the membership will auto-renew every month thereafter but only on a month-to-month basis.
E) Following the 6-month consecutive pre-authorized payment plan period, members may cancel their membership at any time. Cancellations must be submitted in the form of an email. The notice of cancellation must be received at least 3 business days prior to the next payment due.
