A contemporary approach to yoga focusing on dynamic movement and flow
What is it?
A contemporary approach to yoga that concentrates purely on the physical elements. Over the 6 weeks we will build dynamic, flowing sequences set to uplifting music. The format includes a warm up, sun salutations, standing strength, core strength and deep stretch.
What are the benefits?
FItness Yoga will improve strength, balance and co-ordination. However the biggest benefit will be improved flexibility which should be really noticeable after around 8 weeks.
How hard will it be?
Expect to be challenged as your body builds strength and flexibility. This class is not suitable for anyone with back issues.
If you have not yet completed a pre exercise questionnaire please do so before attending your first session so we can check the suitability of the session for you.
