This deeply restorative 60-minute class combines myofascial release techniques using tennis balls and long held passive postures.
We begin with a short centering practice to bring awareness to the breath and body, followed by guided myofascial release using tennis balls to gently target common areas of tension such as the upper back, glutes, hips, feet, and shoulders. These techniques prepare the body to settle more deeply into yin postures, where poses are held for 3–5 minutes to encourage lengthening and hydration of the connective tissues (fascia).
This class is ideal for anyone seeking deep release, improved range of motion, or support in recovery from repetitive stress or physical activity. Expect a calm, meditative pace with an emphasis on breath, awareness, and therapeutic touch.
