This class combines karate and wushu (performance kung fu) to cultivate mind, body, and spirit.
Wushu emphasizes fluid movements and weapons, while karate emphasizes more linear movements and 'the empty hand'. Both involve techniques involving strikes, blocks, and kicks, with a strong connection to East Asian philosophy and aesthetics.
Training will include stretching, basic movements, forms, and meditation.
A gi is required to participate in class!
