Welcome to our Yin Yoga class, a serene and rejuvenating practice designed to cultivate stillness, balance, and deep relaxation. Our Monday night sessions offer a perfect way to ease into the week ahead with gentle, slow-paced movements and soothing stretches. Let's dive into what you can expect from this blissful experience.

The class begins with a brief centering exercise, allowing you to let go of the stresses of the day and tune into your breath and body.

The practice itself primarily consists of passive and grounding postures that are held for an extended period, typically ranging from three to five minutes. These poses target the deeper layers of connective tissues such as ligaments, tendons, and fascia, facilitating deep stretching and enhancing flexibility. With each pose, you'll be encouraged to find your edge, the point where you feel a gentle sensation of stretch without discomfort or pain.

Michelle will guide you through a series of seated and supine postures and props such as blankets, bolsters, and blocks will be used to support your body and help you find optimal alignment, ensuring maximum comfort throughout the practice.

During the holds, the focus shifts to mindful breathing and cultivating a sense of surrender and acceptance. The slow pace allows you to truly connect with your breath, invite relaxation, and release tension from both the body and mind. The instructor may offer gentle reminders to soften, let go, and explore any sensations or emotions that arise during the practice.

The Monday night Yin Yoga class serves as a gentle and nurturing gateway into the week, leaving you feeling grounded, calm, and ready to embrace the days ahead.
