Whether you’re a couple looking to share a fun new activity or a single dancer ready to dive into the world of ballroom, this class is perfect for you. Everyone is welcome, and no prior experience is necessary!

What to Wear: Dress comfortably and sportily—think of this as an active, engaging way to spend your time. Gentlemen, we recommend wearing golf shirts and pants/shorts to keep things stylish yet functional. For ladies, we recommend wearing something comfortable and easy to move in. Regarding footwear, while ballroom or character shoes are ideal, the most important thing is that your shoes are comfortable, so wear what feels best for you.

Class Focus: Our main goal is to ensure you have fun while learning the basics of ballroom dance. We’ll cover a variety of styles (starting with waltz and rumba), and you’ll quickly discover how enjoyable and rewarding social dancing can be. It’s a great way to stay active, meet new people, and learn a skill that you can enjoy for years to come.

Class Organization: This two-hour class will have three components: 1) Smooth dancing (example: waltz), 2) Latin dancing (example: rumba), and 3) practice time. Don’t worry if you are running late or have to leave early! This class is a time for us to be social while learning something new. Leave your stressors at the door!
