Dubai Frocktails is an event for sewists to get together, make new friends and admire each other’s handmade outfits.

Inspired by other Frocktails parties worldwide, we are hosting our second Dubai Frocktails in April 2025 at the legendary QE2.

We welcome sewists of all abilities from Dubai, our lovely neighbouring emirates, or wherever. Anyone can join in! The idea is that you wear something you have made yourself. You can sew a new garment if you like, but it’s also a great opportunity to wear an older outfit that you feel deserves another outing. And despite the name, you don’t...
