Yoga Nidra also known as "yogic sleep" is a guided journey of the sensory awareness through the layers of "self". It is a conscious relaxation inviting refreshment to the mind and body. The goal is to relax with awareness, allowing the mind to calm, emotions up to resolve and the body to let go. 45 minutes of Yoga Nidra equates to 3 hours of deep rest for the brain. The practice of Yoga Nidra will guide you to a state of consciousness between wakefulness and sleep.
