This class is tailored toward the student 50 and over however, sequences are planned to meet all students needs and ages. 
Yoga for Healthy Aging focuses on 3 important goals: (1) increased health span, (2) independence and (3) equanimity. 
Each week  we look at a different topic of practice.
Strength -  Agility - Flexibility - Balance -  Brain Health - Heart Health - Stress Relief and Meditation. 
Students practice asanas (poses) that promote alignment and form. 

  • As a safety precaution be sure to inform the instructor of any health related issuses such as Osteoporosis, Glaucoma, Hip Replacement, High or Low Blood pressure, etc....
