Somatics are small mindful movements paired with breathwork that allow tension within the body to be released. This is a beginner/intermediate yoga class that is approached through a somatic lens. We explore somatic movement & yoga therapy techniques that will help strengthen a classic asana practice.
Meditation, breathwork, seated & standing poses, & a restorative savasana provides a foundation of practice that meets us where we’re at. We will learn to listen & honor what our Soma (mind/body) needs. All levels and abilities are welcome!
