Yoga based after school program offering a hilarious good time while practicing positive life skills: blending literature, co-created storytelling, creative movement, music, mindfulness, and self regulation techniques through humor and interactive play. Components of the 6 WEEK, 45 minute program include character building through program core values, respect for others, respect for self, lifelong fitness, cooperation, and pure authentic fun, literature based or co-created storytelling (using Yoga postures).  The class promotes fitness, core strength, balance, flexibility, reading skills, social skills, creative/critical thinking skills, & language skills, time for reflective thought/breathing techniques (Mindful Minutes).  The class also teaches kids self-regulation, thoughtful decision making, character development, and coping skills for dealing with stress/anxiety.
