Naima is back! And she'll be teaching an all-levels choreography for the month of October. More details coming soon but register now to hold your spot!
Shaabi style dance is a subset of beledi dancing that originated among the working class in the urban streets of Cairo. It became largely popular in the 1970's, and lyrics often deal with social commentaries on politics, love, or personal experience. Shaabi dancing is cheeky, playful, and earthy reflecting folkloric roots and modern urban influences. Naima will be teaching a multilevel choreo to Hoda's Zaki ya Zaki.
Note: This is a series registration, meaning you will be signing up for all classes for the month.
