This is a course for Yoga beginners to learn all the foundational yoga poses in order to feel comfortable and confident attending a general class at the studio. We show you all the basic poses, tips on how to get into the poses, how to modify if you have injuries as well as showing you how to use blocks, bolsters and other yoga props to help you get the most out of your practice.

Most people feel a little apprehensive about attending classes when they are starting out so it is important to remember that you are not alone.  Everyone attending will be a beginner so there is no need to worry.

These teachings will help you to familiarise yourself with all the most practiced poses as well as teaching you the basics of meditation and yogic breathing. Our aim is for you to enjoy your practice as well as reaping the benefits for your mental and physical well-being. We don’t take ourselves too seriously here so hopefully we will all have a little fun along the way.
