I am delighted to introduce Jessica Holliday as your teacher for this new workshop in Pastels.

Jessica’s work is absolutely stunning, I’ve been a great admirer of hers for a long time and have finally persuaded her to run a series of workshops at Studio Door. So here you have it, Jessica Holliday, Pastel Workshop #1 ……

In this one-day workshop, Jessica will introduce you to her techniques for creating these rich Australian landscapes, detailing her process and techniques for creating forest and reflections.

The workshop includes both demonstration and then practice, so you will leave at the end of the day with your own painting, completed in part and the skills to finish any uncompleted detail at home.

Jessica will share her colour palette, materials, the fundamentals of pastels, plus share how she creates these eye-catching landscape compositions, teaching you the tools to do this for your own work.
